The Athena Throw is a limited-edition collaboration between Slowdown Studio and London-based fashion brand RIXO and was designed by London artist Ella Hunt. 

Inspired by Greek mythology, Greek artistry, and the visual language of Ancient Greece,
the Athena throw feels alive with goddesses, serpents, and mythical animals. Featuring warm sun-bleached pastels with lavender, mustard, teal - this piece looks great thrown over a cream couch or the end of a bed in a room with a lot of natural texture like rattan, linen, terracotta. It's perfect for a beachside house - the sort of place with sandy floors and shells on the windowsill or for anyone wanting to bring a bit of that coastal energy indoors.

Every Slowdown Studio throw starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into woven form. The Athena Throw is jacquard woven from high-quality cotton (with at least 25% recycled cotton): lightweight, textured, and built to last. Use it as a couch blanket, a bed blanket, a wall art tapestry, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.

Returns

Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. This will be at your own shipping expense, unless the product is faulty. Returns must be in their original, packaged condition and arrive back to us undamaged. Email us at orders@slowdownstudio.com to initiate a return.
