The Alessi Throw was designed by Micke Lindebergh, a Swedish illustrator and printmaker based in Sydney, whose signature style is built around an abstract and playful interpretation of flowers and organic forms, worked up with Posca pens, bright acrylics and riso inks. The Alessi Throw is a celebration of that approach - a dense, joyful mass of rounded botanical shapes in every colour, packed together with the kind of energy that makes it impossible to look at without feeling your mood lift. About the Artist

Micke Lindebergh is a Swedish illustrator and printmaker living in Sydney, Australia. Armed with Posca pens, bright acrylics and riso inks, Lindebergh has created a signature style with his abstract and playful interpretation of flowers and other shapes.

Product Details

The Alessi Throw is jacquard woven from high-quality cotton (with at least 25% recycled cotton): lightweight, textured, and built to last. Use it as a couch blanket, a bed blanket, a wall art tapestry, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.

Materials: 100% cotton (25% recycled).

Size: 54" x 70" (137cm x 178cm).

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Dry on a cool cycle or line dry.

Due to the nature & structure of the Jacquard weave, occasionally a thread can snag. If this happens, don’t pull it. Use a blunt needle or crochet hook to gently ease it back through to the underside.

Returns

Email us at orders@slowdownstudio.com to initiate a return. Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase, at your own shipping expense (unless the product is faulty). Returns must be in their original, packaged condition and arrive back to us undamaged. Change of mind returns are not applicable for framed products as they are made to order.

Customs & Duties

Orders being shipped outside of the US, UK, Australia & the EU may be subject to customs, taxes or any additional charges by your local government, which will be payable by yourself. This would be applicable for Norway and Switzerland. Should orders be returned due to these payments not being made, the you will be responsible for the return shipping fees. Your Slowdown Studio throw, professionally framed and delivered ready to hang. Made to order, framed locally in the UK using FSC®-certified timber sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Size & frame details

Overall framed size: 1260 × 1710mm. The image shown is an approximation of the finished piece only. Due to the framing process, up to 6cm around each edge of the artwork may be covered by the frame.

Framing options

Choose from 4 finishes: Oak, Walnut, Black, and White. All frames are made from FSC®-certified timber sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Lead time & delivery

Framed throws are made to order. Please allow up to three weeks from purchase for delivery.

Returns & damages

Due to the bespoke nature of our frames and the significant cost involved in shipping large-format artwork, all frame orders are final sale, unless the product arrives damaged or faulty.
