The Yukimi Throw was designed by Eric Reh, a Berlin-based artist who works across various mediums, drawing inspiration from nature and the drawings of his young daughter. This design came from a year Eric spent living in the countryside outside Berlin with his family. Taking long walks, tending to his first garden since childhood, and watching his daughter discover her surroundings for the first time. All of that found its way onto the page. The result is a loose, open composition of round-leafed plants rendered in fine outline across a warm cream background, with delicate lines in teal, orange, blue, and green - and a tiny hand-drawn face tucked into the centre.

About the Artist

Eric Reh is a German interdisciplinary artist and illustrator living and working in Berlin and Esslingen (Germany). Eric works with several tools and materials like wood, metal, paper, fabric or clay. He is mostly inspired by nature in all its facets and manifestations, craftsmanship and children’s drawings (especially the ones by his little daughter).

The Yukimi Throw is jacquard woven from high-quality cotton (with at least 25% recycled cotton): lightweight, textured, and built to last. Use it as a couch blanket, a bed blanket, a wall art tapestry, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.

Materials: 100% cotton (25% recycled).

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Dry on a cool cycle or line dry.

Due to the nature & structure of the Jacquard weave, occasionally a thread can snag. If this happens, don’t pull it. Use a blunt needle or crochet hook to gently ease it back through to the underside.

Returns

Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. This will be at your own shipping expense, unless the product is faulty. Returns must be in their original, packaged condition and arrive back to us undamaged. Email us at orders@slowdownstudio.com to initiate a return.

Orders being shipped outside of the US, UK, Australia & the EU may be subject to customs, taxes or any additional charges by your local government, which will be payable by yourself.
