Hernán Di Filippo is a painter, illustrator, and muralist from Argentina known for work that pulls from emotional memory, everyday rituals, and the colour and chaos of Argentine life. This design was one of the winners of our 2025 Slowdown Art Comp and was inspired by his family dog, Ollie. Together with their cat Julio and his daughter Mora, Ollie is part of what Hernán calls a "multi-species family" - one full of small adventures and a lot of personality. The result is bold and joyful, four dogs rendered in Hernán's signature style with flat graphic shapes and rich, contrasting colour.

About the Artist
Hernán Di Filippo is a painter, illustrator, muralist, and graphic designer born in Goya, Corrientes Argentina. He was a professor at the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Belgrano. His style combines elements from the everyday world that surround and inspire him. Art books, references to cinema, rituals and offerings to the Gauchito Gil, and various elements that evoke his emotional memory make up his work. As an illustrator, Hernán (A.K.A. Difi) has collaborated with various Argentine and international brands. As a painter, he has participated in various exhibitions and/or fairs and won the InSitu award (ArteCo 2025) together with Chorizo Gallery, of which he is a member.

The Otis Throw is jacquard woven in the USA from cotton with at least 25% recycled cotton: lightweight, textured, and built to last. Use it as a couch blanket, a bed blanket, a wall art tapestry, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.

Care Instructions
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Dry on a cool cycle or line dry.
Due to the nature & structure of the Jacquard weave, occasionally a thread can snag. If this happens, don’t pull it. Use a blunt needle or crochet hook to gently ease it back through to the underside.

Orders being shipped outside of the US, UK, Australia & the EU may be subject to customs, taxes or any additional charges by your local government, which will be payable by yourself.
