Size: 54" x 70" (137cm x 178cm)

The Alma Throw was designed by Enikő Katalin Eged, a Budapest-based artist whose work draws on folklore, nature, and the bonds between humans and animals. The design came from a recurring motif in her practice - a horse and a human portrait side by side - and was inspired by the relationship she was building with her new mare at the time. Read our interview with Enikő here.

Every Slowdown Studio throw starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into woven form.
About the Artist

Enikő Katalin Eged is a Budapest-based illustrator and pattern designer. Eged loves illustrative narratives with driving dynamics and a strong atmosphere. The key element in her work is familiarity - somehow connecting or reconnecting a common recognition of small details and memories.
Product Details

Jacquard woven from high-quality cotton (at least 25% recycled cotton), the Alma Throw is lightweight, textured, and built to last. Use it as a couch blanket, a bed blanket, a wall art tapestry, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.

Materials: 100% cotton (25% recycled).

Size: 54" x 70" (137cm x 178cm).
Care Instructions

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Dry on a cool cycle or line dry.

Due to the nature & structure of the Jacquard weave, occasionally a thread can snag. If this happens, don’t pull it. Use a blunt needle or crochet hook to gently ease it back through to the underside.
