The Vito Knit Blanket was designed by David Vanadia, a French artist and illustrator born and based in Marseille. He spent fifteen years working as a graphic designer and art director before making the move to illustration.
His work is minimalist and precise, built around bold graphic identity and a practice that circles themes of being, identity and the mind. He works across engraving, paper cut and digital, and has been published in the New York Times, The New Yorker and the Wall Street Journal, among others. The Vito Knit Blanket carries that considered, poetic quality into a format you can actually wrap yourself in.
Every Slowdown Studio knit blanket starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into knit form. The Vito Knit Blanket is made in the USA from a high-quality blend of cotton and recycled polyester which makes it soft, durable, and built to last without pilling or bleeding. Use it on your couch, your bed, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.

David Vanadia is a French artist and illustrator born and based in Marseille.
Through a minimalist way, he offers a singular work with a bold graphic identity and illustrations that like to make meaning. Graduated from a school of applied arts, his practice developed mainly around the themes of being and the mind.

Returns
Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. This will be at your own shipping expense, unless the product is faulty. Returns must be in their original, packaged condition and arrive back to us undamaged. Email us at orders@slowdownstudio.com to initiate a return.

Orders being shipped outside of the U.S., Australia & the EU may be subject to customs, taxes or any additional charges by your local government, which will be payable by yourself.
